Mill Meadow

A beautifully presented cottage in tranquil surroundings

Kitchen

The cosy kitchen at Mill Meadow highlights countryside charm and contemporary style. The modern cream wood units with wooden work-surfaces have effortlessly blended in with the dark flagstone floors and exposed wood beams.

The kitchen features a good range of appliances, including an electric oven with four-ring hob and grill, a microwave and a fridge with freezer box. In the adjoining porch, which is very spacious and great for storing muddy boots, is the washing machine.

Mill Meadow Living Room

Situated on the first floor, Mill Meadow's spacious living room benefits from wonderful views of the local countryside, the wood and the stream. The quaint living room has a lovely countryside appeal with its wide wood floorboards and wood panelled sloped ceiling that are wonderfully complemented by the neutral décor.

Located at one end of the living room is the cosy lounge with double sofa and relaxing armchair. On warm summer evenings, throw open the French doors to the first floor balcony to listen to the trickling of the stream and peace and quiet of the North Devon countryside. Alternatively unwind in front of the TV, or watch a DVD.

Casual and romantic meals can be enjoyed in the dining area, where an attractive oval pine table comfortably seats up to two.

Mill Meadow Bedroom

Located on the ground floor, the Mill Meadow bedroom is a wonderful place to enjoy a peaceful night's sleep. This quaint bedroom features a pine-framed double bed, a wardrobe and two bedside tables.

The bedroom has exposed wood beams along its ceiling and is tastefully decorated with white washed walls that are complemented by bright splashes of colour in the bed linen and other soft furnishings.

Mill Meadow Bathroom

Set just off the bedroom is the bathroom, which features a nice blend of wood panelling, pale blue tiles and white walls. The bathroom has a good-sized shower, a heated towel rail, a loo and a wash-hand basin, everything you will need when enjoying a holiday at Mill Meadow.

Mill Meadow Terrace

The sun trap wood-panelled terrace at Mill Meadow is a lovely place to admire the view. Sheltered by the side of the cottage, the terrace looks out over the large grounds at Bugford Cottages, as well as the meandering stream running alongside the cottage.

A small table and chairs, along with a parasol and two sun loungers are provided for making your stay at Mill Meadow even more comfortable. There is also a portable charcoal BBQ for warm evenings spent outside enjoying the countryside's peace and quiet.

For anyone wishing to try their hand at a spot of fishing, Bugford Cottage has access to its own small lake where trout and carp can be caught without need of a licence. For more information please get in touch. Please note we are unable to provide any equipment for guests wishing to use the fishing lake.
